As Head of Infocomm Investments Pte Ltd, a S$200M fund in Singapore, Dr. Alex LIN led the team of investment professionals to develop the infocomm start-ups ecosystem in Singapore, through strategic investments in promising companies. For last 10 years, Alex had been actively building companies, mentoring entrepreneurs and investing in promising start-ups. He held entrepreneurship and investment related roles in several organizations working closely with Singapore universities promoting creation of rapid-prototyping capabilities and incubators.

Jeffrey Paine is the founding partner of Golden Gate Ventures, an early stage technology incubator based in Singapore.  Jeff started and manages the Founder Institute in Singapore where he is currently overseeing its expansion in Southeast Asia. Since 2010 the Founder Institute in Singapore has graduated over 60 companies. Jeff spent the first eight years of his career in early stage venture and private equity in the US, North and South Asia. He co-founded a China market entry advisory firm which was then merged with a China mid-market private equity firm. He is currently an investor and advisor to Redmart, Tradegecko, Coda Payments, AtticTV, and Flutterscape/monoco. He is a Singapore native and graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration (Information Systems) from the University of Southern California.

Heng Soon has been active in venture investment for more than 20 years, engaging in direct investment & fund management, leading & developing investment teams, and advising companies on strategic, financial & operational issues.  He has had hands-on experience in the running of business development and sales & marketing operations.  He is currently General Manager at Infocomm Investments.  He enjoys long distance running...and going off into the mountains.

Vinnie Lauria co-founded Lefora (acquired by CrowdGather, Inc.), a forum hosting service for over 100,000 communities on the web.  Vinnie also started the SiliconValley NewTech meetup in 2006, critiquing and reviewing hundreds of startups.  Vinnie has spent the past year mentoring startups in Singapore and across Southeast Asia, working with i/o ventures, the Founder Institute, and JFDI. In 2013, Vinnie was chosen from a pool of over 2,500 Founders Institute’ mentors as the highest rated startup mentor in Asia.Vinnie has organized Silicon Valley themed events in Asia, including SuperHappyDevHouse.sg.  Earlier in his career, Vinnie spent four years within IBM, helping to shape how they were approaching social software for the enterprise.  Vinnie has spent considerable time traveling across Asia and lives full-time in Singapore, managing and mentoring the portfolio companies

Leslie is a serial entrepreneur and technology venture investor. Mr Loh founded his first technology start-up almost immediately after his graduation and led the one-man outfit to a publicly listed global enterprise until it was acquired in 2006. Since then, Mr Loh has been actively involved in investing and nurturing high-tech start-ups in Singapore and the region. Mr Loh was selected the winner of the 1998 ASME Rotary Entrepreneur of the Year in Singapore. In 1999, Mr Loh received the National Youth Award (Individual) for his success as an entrepreneur.  In 2006, Leslie was awarded the “Person of The Year” IT Leader Award by the Singapore Computer Society.

Kuan Hsu joined GREE Ventures in 2012 and serves as Principal of GREE Ventures Asia. Based in Singapore, Kuan oversees GREE Ventures' overall Southeast Asia operations as well as advising portfolio companies. Kuan has led GREE Venture’s rapid expansion in Southeast Asia, leveraging his expertise in the TMT sector, investment experience, and wide network. Kuan started his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company before moving on to work in supply change management at technology manufacturer Solectron Corporation. He received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, remaining in the U.S. to enter investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where he specialized in the TMT sector. After that and prior to joining GREE, he moved to Singapore to serve as an associate director at Temasek Holdings, driving investments in the FIG sector.

William is a Norwegian entrepreneur and tech investor based in Singapore. 

 

He is the founder of Tigris Capital, which has invested in PropertyGuru, iXiGO.com, Tickled Media and several other companies. 

 

He also served as one of the judges on Channel NewsAsia's television series Angel's Gate in 2012. 

 

Previously, he was co-founder of Zoomit.com, which merged with Kelkoo to become one of Europe's largest ecommerce sites. Kelkoo was acquired by Yahoo! in 2004.
